Forte di Monte e Forte di Ceraino
A beautiful route to visit the two forts overlooking the Valdadige
Departure from the village of Monte and following the CAI 238 trail for 1.3 km until arriving at Forte di Monte - Mollinary
We visited it in 2015 and the photos and images are from that date.
from the Fort you really can enjoy exceptional views and views ..... Lake Garda, Adige Valley southwest North, Monte Belpo, Monte Baldo chain, behind Monte Pastello, the other Forts: the fort of Rivoli, the fort San Marco, the cut of Incanale Forte di Ceraino, the fantastic military road overlooking and with hairpin bends downhill up to Ceraino and the Chiusa.

Also here we were able to visit the fort inside and admire its peculiarities
We return to Monte paese along the same way as the outward journey

Brief description of the route
Departure from the square of the church of Monte di Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella
we cross the charming village of Monte following the signs of the CAI 238 path in the direction of the Forte di Monte (panoramas) we now continue CAI 240 path downhill on a former military road overlooking the Valdadige and with wonderful views up to the Forte di Ceraino. For the return we do the same route as the outward journey.
