Monte Solane - Cavalo
A beautiful walk starting from the Sanctuary of Solane, climbed to Monte Solane on a panoramic dirt road that develops on the Solane ridge and therefore with landscapes and views on both sides.
on the west side with views of Lake Garda, the Monte Baldo chain, the Adige Valley,
on the eastern side the Valpolicella, the Carega group, and the eastern Lessinia.
At the end of the downhill ridge we reach the Old Church of Cavalo, I recommend a stop, a view of Lake Garda.
From here we continue on Strada SP 33c up to Stravalle di Cavalo (beautiful views of the valley of Cavalo-Mazzurega-Fumane)
We arrive in Cavalo, a town to enjoy in many aspects (Fontana Lavatoio, paths, Votive Shrine, ect) I also recommend a stop for a drink and / or a snack at Osteria Cavalo.
We return to the Solane Sanctuary along the same road as the outward journey.
